Ramsey McHale brings over forty years of building experience and knowledge to the residential home market. We specialize in residential construction and project management services on Sea Island, GA and the surrounding areas of the Golden Isles.

​Ben (Buzzy) T. Ramsey

Buzzy Ramsey is the President of Ramsey McHale and has been self employed as a builder for more than 30 years. He has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience over the course of his professional career by constructing elaborate, complex homes in the southeast with the past 20 years focused on the construction of Sea Island’s finest ocean front homes.

Over the years Buzzy has been active and served in leadership roles in many industry related and community organizations, including: National Association of Home Builders, Glynn County Zoning Appeals Board, Glynn County Building Code Appeals Board, and the Boy Scouts of America.   

​Matthew M. McHale
Vice President

Matthew McHale is the Vice President of Ramsey McHale.  Over the years Matthew has amassed a wealth of knowledge through experience in many different facets of the construction industry.  As a land development manager with Pulte Homes, Matthew was responsible for developing infrastructure and preparing residential lots in Atlanta neighborhoods. As a project manager for BT Ramsey Co, Matthew was responsible for coordinating subcontractors, procuring materials and equipment, maintaining relationships with the homeowner and design professionals, and ensuring the project met expectations while staying within both budget and schedule.  Working in the Preconstruction department at Holder Construction, Matthew was responsible for project estimates, project buyout, and construction scheduling.  His experience with Holder Construction exposed him to a myriad of project types including higher education, hospitality, and data centers.  Matthew went on to serve as a Construction Manager with Pollack Shores where he was responsible for managing the construction of multifamily projects in both Charlotte and Atlanta. 

In addition, Matthew is an Eagle Scout, an Officer in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from Georgia Institute of Technology.
